About Us

I have over 30 years experience in the environmental sector and am the founder of Coyle Environmental. I manage a team of environmental professionals, delivering projects across the industrial, energy and construction sectors. I bring leadership skills, enthusiasm for client relationships and knowledge of environmental compliance together to help motivate the team. I am a committee member of IOWA and member of IAH for over 10 years.

Outside of work I spend my time with my family. I am an avid Monaghan GAA supporter and enjoy running.

With over 15 years of experience in environmental consultancy, my role within Coyle Environmental involves delegating works to team members and overseeing these projects, ensuring they meet budget and time targets. I provide expert technical advice to both clients and colleagues across a range of specialist areas and review reports within consultancy and in the broader team.

I foster and develop business relationships with new and existing clients, bringing in new projects for business development. I am committed to delivering high-quality client service and fostering long-term partnerships. I am often involved in higher-level projects such as EIAs and EPA pricing.

I am passionate about developing people, coaching and mentoring junior team members and promoting continuous professional development within the team. My own commitment to lifelong learning is demonstrated through a number of professional qualifications.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I also love travelling and gardening.

My role in Coyle Environmental is varied. As Office Manager I oversee finance, administration, and operational support. I manage full bookkeeping functions, weekly payroll, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and revenue submissions. I coordinate ISO accreditation processes, supports audits, and maintain structured HR and training systems for all staff. I also oversee health & safety requirements, PPE management, subcontractor coordination, and ensure operational readiness across the organisation. I provide confidential and efficient support to senior management while ensuring the smooth running of all day-to-day office functions, scheduling, documentation, reporting, and communication.

My professional qualifications include an Institute of Accounting Technicians Ireland (IATI) qualification, a QQI Level 6 Certificate in Payroll (Manual & Computerised), a QQI Level 6 Certificate in Human Resource Management, a QQI Level 6 Certificate in Employment Law, and an Internal Auditor qualification. 

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring nature, photography, and art. I have a keen appreciation for the outdoors, discovering new landscapes, and express my creativity through photography 

My role in Coyle Environmental is carrying out research and surveys to provide advice on how uses of land may affect the ecology of that land. I write Appropriate Assessment Screening reports for planning permission, carry out habitat surveys/bat surveys.  My day to day depends on whether it is survey season (dependent on the survey focus, but generally the main survey season is spring and summer). Survey season is mostly out and about on-site visits.

I also advise on how this fits in with current legislation and European Habitats Directive.

I hold an Honours degree in Conservation Biology and Ecology, a PGCE in Science education, and a postgraduate Certificate in Ecological Consulting. I am an associate member of CIEEM and a licensed bat ecologist. I am a member and volunteer for Bat Conservation Ireland and Bird Watch Ireland.

Outside of work I love scuba diving and generally being in the water as well as hiking.

I joined Coyle Environmental in 2022, and I have developed professional experience delivering environmental services across a diverse range of project types, including construction developments, and planning and environmental compliance projects. My professional experience includes the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) chapters, Construction Environmental Management Plans (CEMPs), EIA Screening Reports, planning permission lodgements, Waste Facility Permit applications, and conditional compliance reporting. 

I have a strong technical background in groundwater and surface water monitoring, air quality, noise, and dust monitoring, and in the development and implementation of robust environmental monitoring programmes. I am certified in Environmental Management for Construction Sites and hold a postgraduate qualification in Environmental Health and Safety Management, allowing me to provide practical, risk-based environmental support across multiple sectors. 

Outside of work I enjoy an active lifestyle. I enjoy running and spending time with my family. I am also creative, appreciating local art.

I started with Coyle Environmental in early 2025. My role is to support planning projects from initial enquiry through to completion. To accomplish this I collaborate with engineers, ecologists and other specialists, with both colleagues in-house and sub-contractors.

I prepare environmental assessments and assist in delivering high-quality consultancy outputs such as site assessments and compliance reports.

I support a wide range of projects by providing practical environmental advice and helping clients meet environmental and regulatory requirements. My role includes preparing technical reports, supporting environmental compliance, and contributing to project management across sectors including construction, infrastructure, industry, and wastewater. 

Outside of work I enjoy spending time in nature and making the most of the outdoors. I love working with animals, hiking, going to the gym, and travelling to explore new places. I also enjoy unwinding with a good book, practising yoga and pilates.

I started with Coyle Environmental in 2020 with a BSc in Agriculture and Environmental Management and a BSc First-class Honours in Rural Enterprise and Environmental Management from Galway Mayo Institute of Technology. 

My primary job function is to manage the Sewage and Wastewater Department. The Department mainly carries out percolation and site characteristics assessments on existing and future developments. Other duties involved with this position include carry out BER365 (soakaway test), AutoCAD editing on existing drawings for planning and environmental monitoring (groundwater, surface water, soil, air) on several projects.

In my current role I carry out percolation tests, design and certify the installation of wastewater sewage systems and percolation areas for domestic clients, architects, engineers and builders. I complete percolation tests in compliance with the EPA Code of Practice for wastewater treatment and disposal systems serving single house. Reports are issued with sewage treatment system designed and the detail inserted onto site layout plan with a cross-sectional detail of the percolation option. Other elements of the role would be to carry out planning application for sewage upgrades and conducting emergency works applications.

As Team Lead of the Consultancy team at Coyle Environmental, I oversee the successful delivery of environmental consultancy projects from proposal through to completion. Holding a degree in Environmental Science, I combine strong technical expertise with a practical, solution-focused approach to support clients and deliver high-quality outcomes. 

My role involves engaging with clients, planning workloads, coordinating resources and project teams, and monitoring budgets and timelines to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards of quality and compliance. I also support colleagues by encouraging collaboration, contributing to knowledge sharing, and fostering continuous learning and professional development across the team. 

Outside of work, I enjoy playing GAA and soccer for my local clubs, spending time with family, helping on my home farm, and making the most of the outdoors. 

I joined Coyle Environmental in 2024 as an Environmental Technician. I have a BSc in Agriculture and Environmental Management from ATU Galway and hold FETAC Level 5 & 6 certificates in Agriculture from Mountbellew Agricultural College.

In my role, I carry out percolation testing and am responsible for the design, certification, and supervision of wastewater treatment systems and percolation areas for commercial clients. The role allows me to combine my agricultural and environmental knowledge with hands-on fieldwork, ensuring that wastewater systems are both effective and environmentally sustainable. 

Outside of work I enjoy rugby, team bonding and I volunteer with Castlerea Agricultural show.

My day to day roles involves managing site monitoring activities, coordinating team members and ensuring the accurate collection and analysis of environmental data. I am responsible for maintaining compliance to relevant regulations and standards liaising with clients and stakeholders, ensuring that all monitoring works are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking. I also follow motorsports and exploring new places and experiences.

Having studied Agriculture and Environmental Management at ATU Galway, I have joined Coyle Environmental as an Environmental Technician.

My tasks involve field monitoring, water, soil noise and air, depending on what the client project requires. I then report this data, analysing it to compile reports. I am also involved in the calibration of equipment.

Outside of work I farm and exhibit at agricultural shows. I also enjoy country music and attending music festivals.

My role in Coyle Environmental is to carry out percolation and site characteristic assessments on existing houses and new builds.

I studied Agricultural Science in UCD and graduated with a BAgrSC in Food & Agribusiness Management.

Outside of work I like to help out on the family farm and spending time outdoors.
